Continued with deburring and dimpling the rudder skeleton parts. It's slow going, but necessary. I have found that leaving the vinyl coating on the parts until just before dimpling keeps things pretty scratch-free. It's not a problem to debur or clean the edges with the vinyl coating on. Then, once the vinyl comes off, use Windex and a paper towel on any blue lettering stamped on the parts, then scuff lightly with a scotchbrite pad in preparation for priming. More to do tomorrow... |
