- Drilled the 1" dia hole in the firewall for the later installation of the fuel line (photo #1). - The instructions for the control horn assembly is to ream out the bushings. But they are 5/8" diameter; who has 5/8" dia reamers??!! So instead I used paint stripper and sandpaper to remove the paint from the horizontal shaft that goes through the bushings. Once I did that the shaft was snug but free to move, just as the plans call for. - Test fit the entire control structure together. |
