Brief Description:    Hone holes for landing gear
Again the plans have no information about fitting the landing gear. Specifically, they don't mention what to do if the legs don't fit in the holes, and apparently none of them do. So I picked up a trick from another builder's web page.

- I used an extra piece of aluminum brake line tubing, cut a slot in one end with the band saw, then put a piece of sandpaper in the slot and taped it in place (photo #1).

- Now I could chuck it in my drill and rotate it inside the gear holes (photo #2).

- After a few minutes of careful honing at each end of the tube, the gear leg would slide in.

Make sure to do some honing, stop, check if the gear will go in, then hone again if the gear does not go in. You don't want to take away too much material by accident and end up with loose gear.

I only did one leg hole tonight as it was getting late. I'll do the other one tomorrow.
