Brief Description:	Fuel tank straps + fuel tank prep
- Finished installing the fuel tank straps to the fuselage with my wife's help. This step works a whole lot better with 2 people! - Followed the Sonex instructions for prep'ing the gas tank: - Used 2 taps to clear the tank fittings of plastic - Rinsed the tank out with gasoline - Began puting together the fuel fittings: 1. Don't the fittings in photo 2 look WAY longer (not including the strainer) than on the Sonex drawing?! Seems like an accident waiting to happen (long heavy thing sticking way out of a plastic fuel tank), doesn't it?! 2. And par for the course: all the fittings called for on the drawing were not in the hardware kit from Wicks. So I must once again order $3 worth of parts, for $6 in shipping!
