Aft Fuselage Skin |
|
|
Finished F26-01 R. It was almost complete when I stopped to cut out one of the wing skins. Tonight I finished cutting the final two edges, deburred the remainder of the pilot holes, and made the aft cut-outs. The small cutout was just a series of 3/8" holes in a line, then filed flush, deburred and sanded. The large cutout was again done with a 4" dia hole saw. For this I use the electric drill (not the cordless). Go slow with very little pressure, and make sure the aluminum is firmly clamped. It will take a bit of filing to get the rough edges out, but it works quite well. |
