Brief Description:	Aft Turtle Deck Skins
- Finished deburring, then filing and sanding the edges, of skin #1. Then used skin #1 as a pattern for skin #2: - Laid skin #1 over next aluminum sheet - Put 2 small nails in my work table and pushed the 2 sheets of aluminum against them (nails are located at each end of a long straight edge of the sheets). This assures the 2 edges are aligned, and helps keep the 2 sheets from moving. - Added some painter's tape around both sheets of metal to keep them together, and to prevent movement on my work table. - Traced around skin #1, then traced inside each pilot hole. Even though I was going to leave the skin #1 in place to use its pilot holes to drill into skin #2, I like to trace all the holes in case I miss one or more. That way I still know where to drill after I take off the pattern. - Drilled through the pilot holes in skin #1, into skin #2. Easy! - Took away the pattern, cut skin #2 on the trace lines, then - Deburred, files and sanded all edges and pilot holes. That makes ALL my fuselage skins complete; no more to cut out.
