Made 2 splice plates W12-04 Finished the root hardware installation on the rear spar W12-01R. Note: On the rear spars, the construction of the root hardware is NOT the same between the two spars. It's another case of "read the plans." I almost assumed they were the same and started laying out W12-01R just like the root of W12-01L. Fortunately I kept looking at the angle installation and noting that something was different. Then I noted that the big plate was installed on the opposite face from the one on W12-01L! And the angle faces in the opposite direction.
