Marathon session of etching/alodining. Set up a little assembly line.

I was amazed at how dark the parts got when using brand new alodine. I had tried the old stuff I had (~ year old) and you can see the terrible results in the first picture. New newer stuff produced an almost brown part when I followed their directions on soaking. I diluted the alodine a little and found it only took a minute for each rib in the acid and a minute in the alodine for a really nice finish.

Next step is the painting which will have to wait a day until after baseball.
