Tonight I riveted the rear spar to the right wing skeleton. After having to drill out four rivets when riveting the rear spar on the left skeleton (6/1/12), I was careful this time to mark holes that get riveted later in assembly with other parts, and even marked the rivet sizes on the rear spar. The problem was that I did all that on the spar... and inserted rivets from the rib side. I managed to rivet one hole that I shouldn't have (when moving from a rib that gets riveted with the aileron gap seal to a rib that gets riveted with the flap brace). I also managed to pick a -4 where a -6 should have gone. Oh well, only two drill-outs on this rear spar. I guess maybe a couple more RV's and I'll have it down... After riveting the rear spar, I had Karen help me take the spar crate to the back porch, and stood the skins crate on end to make more room in the shop. Rivets Today: 35 Rivets Total: 4486
