I wasn't happy with the number of enlarged holes in the horizontal stabilizer front spars, inboard ribs, and angles, so I've decided to replace those parts. Yesterday I placed an order with Vans for new HS-402 spars, HS-710 and HS-714 angles, HS-00005 and HS-00006 ribs, and HS-00001-1 doublers. Today I got started drilling off stab skins. I got the skin rivets for both spars, aft main rib, and aft half of end rib on the top of the left side drilled out. Rivets Today: -84 Rivets Total: 11910 |
