One step back today... The cracked and slightly crimped trailing edges, and non-square closure bends, just aren't sitting well with me. So I'm starting a do-over on the skin and trim tab. Yesterday I ordered a new skin, trim spar, trim tab parts, and stiffeners to be shipped with the wing and fuselage in a couple of weeks. 127 drilled out rivets liberated the skeleton and trim servo reinforcement from the skin. I started by drilling 1/16" down the center of each rivet, then coming back with a #40 to drill off the head. I didn't even want to dry to drill out the monel blind rivets in the trim spar, and there are more rivets in the stiffeners than drilling them out would be worth. Drilled out rivets: -127 Rivets discarded with skin, trim spar, and trim tab: -140 Rivet Total: 1913
