Marked, drilled, notched, and sawed the F-680 flap center bearing block.

The F-680 as received is longer than shown on the plans, so I marked and sawed off most of the extra, then squared it up on the bench grinder. It was very slow going, as the 80-grit belt I have is not nearly as aggressive on delrin as it is on aluminum!

I then drilled the bolt holes, used a vixen file to notch the bottom forward corner to clear the seat pan, then sawed the block to fit around the torque tube.

Drilling and installing the platenuts under the baggage floor rib was a bit of a challenge while leaning over the side of the fuselage standing on a stool. I have a very low table the Brighton Build-a-Plane guys built out of their RV-12 crate for their fuselage that I need to use instead of the sawhorses...
