spent some time in the shop cleaning up a bit, and then getting the skins ready for alodine and primming. Mainly, this was a matter of removing the plastic cover from the rivet lines, and removing residual marking ink with acetone. I also fabricated a forming block out of some maple, and used this (with some judicious hammering) to clean up the ends of the trim tabs. I am happy with the results.
