"Dad, my daughter just put a rock in her nose..." With that phone call, thus ended an ER-shortened visit to the hangar. I was able to get a little done to reinforce the center rib by cutting a plate from .063 aluminum that I will rivet on the right side to help carry the load between the two angle brackets. I know this is as strong as the original--if not stronger. Life will intervene again shortly when granddaughter #2 arrives, so I consider these little "interruptions" a blessing. This thing will get built eventually... |
