Fuel Float |
|
|
I ordered a bag of 1.5” diameter cork stoppers from McMaster Carr for the purpose of fabricating a fuel float. I epoxied two together then drilled a 3/32” hole down the center. I slid the cork assembly on to a 36” x 3/32” nickel welding rod, flattening the tip so that the cork can’t slide off, and used JB weld on a steel flat stopper to keep them from sliding up the rod. Once the assembly was complete, I coated the cork in epoxy to make them fuel proof. |
