machining bench & dimple tables |
|
|
setting up shop. built bench for power tools. built shelving for parts storage. built dimpling tables. i went with two tables for portability and flexibility in moving around the shop. the odd looking bit on top of the avery c-frame dimpler is a mallet holder permitting dimpling operations solo. i copied it from Bud Newhall - do a search for "bob newhall's thinga-ma-jig". nothing more than a piece of scrap al bent up so the weight of the mallet will lift the dimple die high enough to reposition the sheet. this allows for single man dimpling ops. |
