I was unhappy with the fit of the two-piece nosebowl; when the spinner flange was parallel there was about a quarter inch gap which would compromise the center-edge distance, which was only 3/8 inch anyway. Accordingly, I epoxied fiberglas into the gap, with suitable tapering, and glassed in nutplates for the 8-32 truss head securing screws.
