I'm going to install a Advanced Flight System EFIS, which utilizes a "Gold Cube" fuel transducer, made by Electronics International, when a gravity feed fuel system is used. The manufacturer requires 5 inches of flexible fuel hose in and out of the transducer, and AFS wants 5 inches of straight hose into the transducer. Those two requirements require a fair amount of real estate, and given my choice of gascolator location, I came up with a solution which required some back-tracking, but accomplished the previous stated goals.
