I did the oversize tire modification on the left landing gear, and stripped the fabric in order to do so. I could have just cut off the lower portion and fabric and patched the left, but I'd already put two patches on that side, and I had to do the right side anyway, so I removed the fabric and went through the process of covering both landing gear: gluing fabric, shrinking, brushing on Poly-Brush coat, spraying to Poly-Brush coats, and then applying two Poly-Spray coats, dry sanding with 600 grit, and then a final coat of Poly-Spray. I reinstalled the gear, this time using locking castle nuts, which provide an additional level of loosening safety. I reinstalled the brakes and bled them.
