Brief Description:    Glareshield and Compass
I OD epoxy-primed the glareshield, and then painted it with Krylon Semi-Gloss paint. I had originally tried John Deere medium gloss, but it was way too glossy and slow drying, which in Oklahoma, means it picks up dust specks. So, I sanded that down, and went with the Krylon. I placed a 1/4 inch ID fuel line over the 1/4 inch aluminum tube, which I previously epoxed to the front lip of the glareshield. I then used 3M Weatherstrip adhesive to glue a Steinair blue panel light strip to the glareshield. Next, I installed the vertical compass. Unfortunately, I forgot to put in the wires for the compass light, so I had to wire all that into the instrument lights.
