Brief Description:	AST Parts Prep and Assembly
Riveted AST ribs to top surface of skins only as per Step 5, page 8-02. Separated, deburred, and countersunk AST control horns as per Steps 1-3, page 8-03. Installed control horns. Prepared AST hinge halves and drilled the HS-1218B AST hinges as per Steps 5-7, page 8-03. Set the HS-1218A hinges and pins aside for use on the stabilator. Deburred drilled holes. Primed mating surfaces of HS-1218B hinges and the AST spars. Installed the AST spars as per Step 4, page 8-03. Completed assembly of AST (right and left) as per Steps 1 and 2, page 8-04. Section 8 completed.
