Brief Description:	Constructed Vans tool box practice kit.
The hinge to box connection instructions were not as specific as I would have liked and proceeded as I thought it was indicating. The instructions need better description by way of a small section through the hinge/box/lid connection or more specific text description. What I did was not the right solution but it came out OK for a tool box. I would not have proceeded with aircraft construction item without contacting Vans for clarification of any similar incomplete or vague instructions.
