Vans tell you to mark the inboard brackets and drill them through the translucent wheel pant, well it didnt work for me. The problem with that method is even with a torch inside the pant, due to shadowing and the fact that the bracket is some distance away from the fibreglass the holes ended up miles of. Fortunately I managed to use the misaligned holes for the nutplate rivets. I ended up removing the wheels and drilling the holes from the inside out then making up the gap with several layers of glass.
