Brief Description:    Installed Rudder Rod End Bearings
When I riveted the rudder leading edge together I had trouble with the very top rivet as the hole was too close to the counterbalance. I riveted it using a piece of aluminum ground down at an angle and a hole drilled through it to accept the rivet shank. I bent the shank of the rivet and inserted it through the wedge so I could rivet from an angle and still have pressure straight down on the rivet head. Thanks EAA workshop video.
Finally I installed the rod end bearings using a neat little tool I picked up at Walmart called the Gator Grip. I believe they made this tool just for this purpose. :-)
This is it for the rudder for now.
