Brief Description:	Install Spar Pin Switch Mod (N 15-09-15)
Removed magnetic switches and cut wires at splices. Marked and drilled spar pin switch plates to side of arm rests. (steps 1 and 2) Drilled hole and installed LP4-3 rivets at each spar pin switch plate. (step 3) Shortened one of the spar switch wires to 4.5 inches and crimped a ring terminal. (step 4 - step 3 of page 31B-10) Installed switches in plates and mounted plates on arm rests. Also routed wires through snap bushings and spliced to aircraft wiring. (step 5 - step 4 of page 31B-10) Installed spar pins and adjusted spar pin switches. Outboard adjustment was required on both switches (5 washers at each mount screw location). (step 6 - step 5 of page 31B-10) Step 7 (step 6 of page 31B-10) was technically not required since wire was already in the conduit and available for splicing in step 5. Verified that all hardware was tight. (step 8 - step 7 of page 31B-10). Step 9 (logbook entry will be accomplished along with other mods at a later date. This step is considered complete for this Notification. Checked that spar switches work properly by verifying continuity on FUSELAGE connector pin 5 with spar pins installed and latched. Also, verified an open when either spar pin is unlatched. NOTIFICATION 15-09-15 IS COMPLETE
