1. Radius edges and fluted vertical stablizer ribs (page 06-05, steps 1 and 2). 2. Final drilled #19 holes and dimpled all holes on forward and main skins of vertical stablizer (page 06-06, steps 1 through 8). The last remaining step for this section is step 9 to rivet nutplates to main skin. Finally got a better camera that takes better pictures. Also, battling the proverbial internal primer war in my own freakin' head. Finally settled on priming all internal structure (minus skins) using TEMPO A-702 Zinc Phosphate Primer. Decided to go this way for convenience, TEMPO is an aircraft primer, and is one of the primers called out in Van's build manual Section 5A. |
