In order to remove the hinge pins from the upper cowl hinges, I need to access those pins from the mid upper cowl. A slot is cut into the cowl and a filler made from two pieces of aluminum is created. The filler screws up and down. When down I can access the pins. When up, the filler, fills in the space and shows a little nipple of the hinge pins.
