The standard brakes that come with the finish kit are Grove brakes. Several builders indicate they are adequate and with good pilot technique should be sufficient. I erred on the conservative side and saw this as a safety alert. I returned my Grove brakes to VAn's and purchased Matco brakes made for the 10. It required some diligent plans reading to get them fit, but I believe I have them installed correctly.
