Started the Right Tank |
|
|
"Since the Left tank is curing from the first sealant session (in our dinning room since its cold outside). ;-) I decided to push ahead and get the right tank to the same point. Since I have all of the misc. parts & work already completed for this tank, it shouldn't take me more than a couple days to get this one caught up & ready for the the ribs also. Then I'll be knee deep in fuel tank sealant. I'm hoping I can get these bad-boys done before baby Addison arrives. She is due Feb 22 but I really can't imagine poor Kim going through this that much longer... Plus I'm a bit a antsy for my new lil co-pilot to arrive... We're betting on the full moon as the arrival date (Jan 26/27). Not many pics since this is all repeats... - Mounted & match drilled the right wing z-brackets. - Carefully edge deburred the tank skin. - Fluted / Straightened all of the ribs. - Started assembling the tank with stiffeners & ribs. Tomorrow I hope to get this thing fitted to the wing, matchdrill & CS for the rear baffle." |
