Rudder Complete (for now) |
|
|
"Okay ""rolling"" the leading edge of the rudder is NO easy task!!! I concurr with others on this one, it's a total PITA and is time consuming. I made a PVC rolling tool out ot the excess PVC I bought for the rod end tool. Same concept as the rodd-end tool, but a bit larger. Worked like a charm. I had Kim twist the handel while I made sure the skin didnt lift against the spar & leave a crease. after alot of hard work (about two hours)... It came out pretty close to perfect. Moved on to some elevator work... No pictures. - Match drilled all of the stiffeners. - Match drilled the E-615 PP (trim servo area doubler). - Hole deburred the right skin and all of the stffeners (Left & Right). - Dimpled the Right side stiffeners. Done for the day." |
