Main Fuel Supply Lines |
|
|
Yesterday I also received the new fuel lines that run from the wing tanks to the selector valves. I felt that it would be easier to install flexible fuel lines instead of aluminum lines, so I took measurements and had the lines made. Today I only got so far as drilling out the path for the fuel lines. Drilling a large hole into the side of my fuselage was a bit unnatural--even though I've been down that road many time by now. The hole that passed through the kickplate bracket wasn't so easy to drill since I couldn't get my rather large drill into the space. So, I drilled a pilot hole and used my smaller uni-bit to enlarge it. Then I used my 90deg Dremel tool to enlarge it out to 1in. Only have one picture--will take more tomorrow when I finish the install. |
