Canopy handle hole |
|
|
This proved to be a bit nerve-racking. I started by drilling a 1/8 in pilot hole and immediately cracked the canopy right at the hole. The cracks ran left/right out from the hole about 3/32 of an inch. I used a plexiglass bit but either drilled too fast or something. Don't know. Anyway, I used a unibit to drill the final hole out to just over 5/8 in and the cracks were drilled out and not a problem. Deburred the hole and sanded it with 500 grit sandpaper. |
