Riveted bottom skin |
|
|
Checked torque and applied torque seal to nuts. Installed and riveted bottom skin. I struggled a bit with the flush rivets. The madrels pulled out the heads on many rivets. I know the mandrel does not provide any strength, so it doesn't matter. I tried many pressure settings and even hand squeezed many rivets, but nothing seemed to matter. I needed to go back and install W20-01R Root Doubler. I knew I wasn't supposed to rivet it in place, however I was supposed to install it, so I had to cleco it into place and updrill and dimple this part. |
