Brief Description:    #4 Wing Rib Fabrication
Today I spent a good deal of time getting the #4 rib block sanded and finished. I was able to bend the flanges on one #4 rib before it was time to go back to my job. Work is proceeding slowly, but I'm very satisfied with the results. I was commenting to Dave Clay in an email that for scratchbuilders, a tremendous amount of time is tied up in fabricating wing parts themselves. When it's all said and done, I'll probably have spent 4 or 5 months just fabricating wing tanks, spars, bellcranks, and ribs. Comparatively, the wings shouldn't take all that long to put together once I have the parts all made. This ain't no race though, and I'm enjoying the journey of getting there, and the mental challenge of staying focused on doing good, high-quality work.
