Brief Description:    Stabilizer Corrosion Protection
After careful drilling and trial assembly with clecos, I'm taking the entire stabilizer skeleton apart, deburring, roughing up with Maroon Scotchbrite, and treating each part with NAPA self-etching spray primer. I realize that some builders may view treating each part as a little excessive, but I live in the Outer Banks of North Carolina - probably one of the most corrosive environments on the planet, so I'm being very diligent about this step. I expect the weight penalty to be minimal when compared to the benefits and peace-of-mind I'll receive by knowing I did everything I could during construction to mitigate corrosion.
