Brief Description:    Filtered Air Box
Fabricating the filtered air box has been an iterative process. This box houses a K&N filter and is mounted to the underside of the carb. The basic process is to mate the snout of the filtered air box to the snout on the underside of the lower cowl. If done properly there is a seamless transition of ram air into the air box and aids in getting maximum manifold pressure to the engine. Like most parts in this stage the box was way too long and way too deep requiring several iterations of trimming and taking the lower cowl on and off.
