I ordered my first piece for the panel today. I am no where near finalizing plans for the panel yet, but I would like to bite it off in pieces to lessen the financial blow when the time comes. I know i want an audio panel, and I know I want two comm's. My first Comm will likely be a 430W and second I was up in the air until I researched the PS Engineering PAR100EX. This is an audio panel with Nav/Comm 1 and 2, bluetooth, and an internal comm radio within the unit. I will set this Comm up as Comm2 and the (likely 430) as Comm1 / Nav1. I have yet to order the wire harness for this yet, but i need to finalize the panel before that happens. I was surprised that the wire harness will run an additional $300-$400, in addition to a Comm antenna which is another +/- $250......now I am learning all the things Vans doesn't tell you.... |
