Brief Description:	Completing the rudder
Now that the pre cover inspection is complete I am going to begin the process of completing the components I have been putting together over the years. It is a great feeling to now be able to make these components complete and await the fuselage expected to arrive in June of 2014. I ordered the quick built version of the RV 7 as it will help me advanced to a possible launch of the completed planes sometime in spring o 2015. Now for the rudder, to begin I have wanted to close off the rolled inner section of the rudder since completing it some 3 or four years ago. I began trying to tape and roll the entire length of the inside rudder only to find out it would not work as suggested in the manual. I then taped only a section at a time and that was the answer, it went along nicely after that and as seen in the pictures I even placed the top on the rudder. I have left off the bottom section as I havent decided on lights and the manual says that you should wait until the empenagge is joined to the fuse to make any necessary adjustments.
