Flight Manual Prep |
|
|
Experimental / Amateur-Built aircraft do not have a POH, or Pilot Operating Handbook, in the same manner as a certificated aircraft. Instead, the same general content is referred to as a "Flight Manual." Today I spent some time editing a filght manual that was graciously supplied by another builder. In addition to the mundane stuff like changing all the N-numbers and names to mine, I added sections that were unique to my aircraft - items like nav/pos/strobe/landing lights, the EFIS operation, and the correct names/models/serial numbers for all of the equipment list items like EFIS, ELT, compass, comm, xpnder, prop, engine, etc. Still have data to complete, but which won't be available until after W&B and flight test - things like CG graphs, landing distances, speeds, etc. |
