Brief Description:    Mixed Day Painting
Today was just a very lousy day, but the weather was beautiful.

Haven't felt that well; the antibiotics I'm on are messing with my intestines. Got a late start. Figured I'd help out #2 son who lives in Chicago by taking his car for inspection. It was due in July! Of course, I get pulled-over less than 1/4 mile from his house. Fortunately, I guess I convinced the officer that I was telling the truth. Then, two inspection places were closed. Finally got that inspected. Afterwards, stopped at Lowes for some clear paint. I get home, and the nozzle is broken off flush with the can.

So I finally touch up the wingtips with #600 grit paper and shoot some clear. Rats. It wrinkled as shown in pic 2 below. I used Rustoleum Primer, Color, and Clear. Just frustrated.

Lastly, shot some primer on both wheelpants. These turned out NICE; no center mold line visible. Unfortunately, we're supposed to have wet weather starting tomorrow for most of next week, even more important that I get some paint work done today.
