Tonight, I bent the #1 TurtleDeck former splice plates to a 30 deg angle on each piece. Then, I measured, marked, located, and pilot drilled / cleco'd the 3 sets of former clips onto the TurtleDeck skin splice channel. Bugs became to great to combat, so I called it a night.
