Spent most of the afternoon on this stuff, but it sure doesn't seem like much got done. Was interspersed with several interruptions. Some good, like the 35 minute phone call I had with a Sonex builder from South Dakota, some were needed, (like vacuuming the chop saw, which hadn't been done in a looooooooonnnng time), along with phone company repair guys, and general other stuff. Anyway. Cut channel stock for SNX-F27-01 / -02 / -03 / -04 / -05 vertical channel pieces. Trimmed and drilled for fairlead SNX-F27-05L / -05R, the aft-most channel pieces to the completed status. Cut angle stock ( 1 x 1 x 0.125) to length for parts SNX-F26-02L / -02R, and SNX-F26-03L / -03R, the upper and lower longerons for the aft fuselage. Cut SNX-F26-08 to length and made a 3/32" angle on one end of each piece (2) to form the rudder stop for each side. Lastly, cut a 2 x 3/4 x 7 block of phenolic into 4 squares, each 1 9/16" x 0.75. Marked location of center 3/4" hole and the 4 corner holes (1/2 the hole is 1/8" wide, remaining half is 1/4" to accomodate CCP-46 rivets).
