Eric, Bryan, Pete, and Nick worked to attach the aluminum reinforcement brackets to where the wing stuts connect to the wing. We have deviated slightly from the Kitfox plans here. The plans called for the reinforcement plates to be attached under all levels of fabric. We didn't think that there was sufficient area to attach them below the fabric, so now they are sandwiched between two pieces of fabric. We think this will be a better and more durable construction than what the plans call for, and still have the intended effect of adding reinforment around the wing strut attachment points.
