Started work on left wheel fairing |

I pulled down my left gear fairing. I feathered out the existing holes 12 to 1. I then laid up the holes with fiberglass. I chose to use SS machine screws to attach the fairings to the gear. I feel that it would be stronger than chamfering the fiberglass and using countersunk screws. Minimal drag impact. I will be flying off of a grass strip and want the pant to be as resistant to damage as practical. |
