Work on the elevator began. Ribs were clecoed to the spar and rear skins clecoed to the elevator skeleton using the existing #40 pilot holes provided by Zenith. At this point the elevator had a significant warp and clamping it down to a perfectly flat surface resulted in skin buckling. Something had to be done. Work ended for the day. |
