Pg. 31-03 Step 3: Installed the clamps and attached the Wire Run Conduit to the Center Section Assy. Pg. 21-13 Step 7: Discovered that the nutplates of this step on both sides were only held with one CCR264SS-3-2 rivet. The other rivet was set but did not catch the nutplate. Removed these rivets and using a small phillips screw driver spun the nutplates into position. Secured them with an AN526C832R8 screw, then properly set a new rivet in place. Worked great as access to the back was obstructed by the flight controls, though you could see the back with a mirror. Masked the footwell areas for final scratch resistant paint. Interior trim will be added after certification.
