Pg. 29-07 Step 3: Reinstalled the screws, washers and nuts of the replacement Map Box. I used a bit from my drill driver and a vice grip to hole the screw head while turning the nut. My screw driver would not fit in the box. An offset screw driver would work, but I could not locate mine. Pg. 31-06, Rev 3 Step 4: Used a multimeter set for checking continuity to test the Spar Pin Reed Switches in accordance with the Change Notice issued on 3-12-10. I had problems with the switches showing continuity with the Pin Stoppers both engaged and disengaged using the light technique. With the multimeter I only had to adjust the right switch outboard 1/32" to get proper operation. The left side worked without any adjustment. Thanks to Van's Support for working on and solving the problem. Pg. 30-02 Step 5: Added Loctite 242 to the screw threads on the pin stoppers and inserted the screws.
