Pg. 34-15 Step 2: Removed previously applied peel ply from both sides. Step 3: Placed ply #1 of the 36" strips onto a piece of plastic drop cloth. Wet it out with resin, covered it with the rest of the plastic. Squeegeed the resin into the fabric and the excess out. Brushed a coat of epoxy onto the canopy surface. Placed ply #1 into position against the electrical tape and assured that it bridged the gap between the canopy and the Upper Fwd Fuse Skin, then removed the plastic. Step 4: Allowed the resin to cure to a tacky state, then added the subsequent plies, staggering them 1/8" on the aft edge and 1/2" at the ends.
