Pg. 38-04 Step 3: Installed the F-12112B-L&R Mid Cowl and F-12117 Lower Cowl Hinges and hinge pins Step 4: Installed the F-1201J&K Upper Cowl Hinges and hinge pins. The hinge pins were inserted into the F-1240C Clip. Step 5: Fluted the cowl hinges to bring them into alignment with the adjacent skin. Pg. 38-07 Step 5: Cowl 12 Oil Door previously had the excess material removed. Radiused the the corners of the door to match the recess of the Upper Cowl. Step 6: Used a Dremel Tool and reinforced cut-off wheel to cut out the hole in the Upper Cowl to within 1/8" of the scribe line. Sanded and filed to scribe line.
