Pg. 12-03 Step 5: Attached the Rudder Assembly to the V-Stab Assembly. Step 6: Placed the V-Stab Tip Fairing in position and marked any material within 1/8" of the Rudder Assembly throughout its travel. Sanded the edges and surface, then cleared away the dust. Clecoed the Tip Fairing in place. Pg. 12-04 Step 1: Elected to leave the rudder attached to the V-Stab. Step 2: Riveted the V-Stab Tip Fairing Assembly to the V-Stab Assembly. Step 3: Riveted the Rudder Tip Fairing to the Rudder Assembly. Step 4: The V-Stab Assembly remained attached from a previous installation. Pg. 12-05 Step 2: Marked two lengths of masking tape per the given dimensions and identified them "AL" and "BL". Marked two additional tapes and identified them "AR" and "BR". Step 3: Aligned the "AL"tape with the reference line at the lower edge of the Upper Corner Skin and the forward edge along the Tailcone aft rivet pattern. Step 4: Aligned the "BL" reference line with the lower edge of the F-1280-L Side Skin and the forward edge along the Tailcone aft rivet line. Repeated steps 3 and 4 for the right side.
